My under $10 July 4th weekend project—-A vintage bike planter! Not too bad if I do say so myself. I bought 2 cans of spray paint and painted up my old bike, re-used plastic pots and a cheapie watering can to plant patio tomatoes and herbs. For an added touch I put ribbons in the handlebars. I plan on re-doing the rock garden area around the bike this fall when it cools off a bit. Note* The long planter in the first photo will be used in another upcoming project.
